I believe every child no matter their background or school they go to should have the highest quality education possible. I am driven to make a difference to lives and futures of children across the West Midlands beyond my own academy and Trust as part of the Advisory Board.
I have worked in education for over sixteen years in many different leadership roles but at the heart of everything is my desire to raise standards in education for all children.
I am currently Headteacher at E-ACT Heartlands Academy an outstanding school serving one of the most disadvantaged communities in the West Midlands. Despite the barriers many of our children face, Heartlands Academy is one of the highest performing schools in the country with the highest aspirations and standards of excellence for all students.
I have a broad range of school improvement experience working with senior and middle leadership teams across various academy trusts, including my current trust where I support the leadership team to continually raise standards and improve the outcomes for all children.
I will use my use my skills and experience to make an effective contribution towards raising standards for children across the West Midlands.
