Rachel Howie

As the CEO of a Multi-Academy Trust and the Director of Education for a Diocese, I have experienced the work of the Headteacher Advisory Board from different angles. This has made me acutely aware of the importance of this group in providing appropriate support and challenge to the decision making for the children in the schools being discussed. With five years experience in these current roles and previous experience as a headteacher, HMI and consultant head to schools in special measures I feel I am able to offer a broad range of experience, skills and expertise that would support the work of the Advisory Board. While currently working within the primary sector I have experience of early years, secondary and independent settings and have worked with a range of other MATs, dioceses and local authorities.
If elected I would be pleased to serve in this role and offer something back into the system.
