I would like to put myself forward for election as I feel that i can represent the views and experiences of many a serving headteacher working in a school today.
I have been a senior leader for 18 years in the state sector, and have led teams within every aspect of school leadership. This culminated with my appointment as Principal of an Outstanding academy four years ago. I have since been appointed Exectutive Principal to support two other secondary schools in the Trust.
I am a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching, and the RSA, and have previously headed up a Teaching School and a Networked Learning Community.
My belief the every student, regardless of background or starting point, can achieve the highest academic standards is coupled with my belief that all staff should be given opportunities for growth - both personal and professional.
