I have been in education for nearly 40 years & in that time things have never stayed still. They continue to evolve or change & we as teachers and leaders have to understand and respond to those changes. The next few years are going to be no different. In fact, it is perhaps going to be a time when the system evolves & hopefully becomes much more joined up. A system which is less about system or structural division and more about unity of purpose - what is best for children & young people.

Operationalising ones moral purpose has been a cornerstone for my work and would continue to be so in this role; ensuring that there is fairness and openness in decision making; ensuring the educational experience for all remains central to our work.

I bring a wealth of experience to the role: Headship, Executive Headship & then a CEO. I have also explored 'self employment' as a Leadership Consultant & Coach and I have had the privilege of sitting on a number of national networks and committees.

I have worked mostly with disadvantaged communities & my commitment to levelling up remains as strong as ever.
