Statement

Following seven successful years in Headship/Executive Headship with experience in smaller, rural schools (circa 90 NOR) and the pre, during and post leadership of a new Free School, I believe my skills and expertise reflect the needs of the South West.
My leadership approach stems back to the NPQH training which equipped me with an unswerving core ethos centered around Sinek’s ‘Why’ leadership model, as well as the guiding principles from Covey (keeping the end in mind and sword sharp); this drives everything that I do.
Change Management & Excellence: successfully led change, collaboration and school improvement in the South West and at a national and global scale. (Examples: PTI (Princes Teaching Institute) Hub (CPD) Lead for 23 schools in SW, Ofsted, Academisation, Setting up a Free School).
Ofsted, DfE & Accountability: Many Ofsteds, including the new Free School (June 2021). Egloskerry’s Ofsted, February 2020, “leaders at all levels are very clear about their vision for the school. They work together as a strong team to provide the very best experiences for their pupils.” L&M graded ‘Outstanding'. DfE Accountabilty via Free School process.
