Statement

Whilst we all work for different organisations and care for a particular group of children, their families and communities, fundamentally, as educators, our work should serve the whole of the education community. We may have some differences of opinion, perspective and practice, yet, as leaders in the education sector, we act collectively to offer the very best education possible and, surely, to learn, to share our learning with each other and to make each other stronger in the interests of our students. We sign up to strong values of public life and those require us to be selfless, objective, accountable and honest.

I have held Principal and Trust officer roles in both the maintained and academies sector, in a variety of settings from inner-London, through to the home counties and coastal settings, ranging from the most vulnerable through to the most successful schools in the country. Through this, I have gained a deep insight into the challenges and opportunities facing our schools. I would now like to use that insight with your approval to support and challenge the work of the RSC in our region.

Wherever you find yourself right now, I’d be honoured to work with and for you.
