I have been CEO of South Farnham Educational Trust for 10 years. The Trust has 4 primary schools as full members and 2 associate members including one in Kenya. The Trust has a SCITT with 170 primary trainees and is a Teaching School Hub working in Surrey and Hampshire.
I am currently on the Regional Schools Commissioners Advisory Board and have experienced the decision-making process which takes place as schools join together in collaborative partnership.
I am committed to the concept that schools work best when they are working in collaborative partnership and I am sensitive to the issues that can arise as these partnerships grow. I also understand that sometimes these partnerships can be large however, local collaboration of schools work exceptionally well. There is certainly no one size fits all solution to collaboration.
I am a member of the Primary Council within Surrey and a Schools Forum member.
I have been involved in supporting many DfE initiatives and I have always been keen to support and advise on any initiative that leads to better outcomes for children.
