Ginny Rhodes

I hold the happy dual positions of both Executive Headteacher of The Circle Trust - which is currently a Trust of six schools (two Secondary, 1 Primary, 1 Junior and 2 Infant schools) - whilst also remaining the substantive Headteacher of one of the Secondary Schools.

These two roles are deeply connected and intrinsically intertwined. The joy of undertaking both roles (with an enormously gifted team of colleagues around me making it work!) means that I have that visceral appreciation of leading a school which supports the strategic decision making in our school improvement offer. It is always a tonic working day to day with teenagers (most of the time...)

I want to always work in collaboration with others and enjoy that a great deal! Beyond our Trust, I Chair our local Secondary (soft) Federation which requires careful and sensitive management of professional relationships. I also serve as a Governor at another school from which I gain a really helpful prospective and I hope contributes to system leadership.

I hope that I would be of help to others serving on the Advisory Board. I am utterly convinced that Trusts make a significant positive difference to children and young people.
