Ann Marie Mulkerins

I am the Headteacher of The Compton School – and 11-18 comprehensive school in Barnet London, appointed in 2015. The school was the founding school of Middlesex Learning Trust. I would be interested in becoming an Advisory Board member as I believe that it is crucial that educational decisions are based on the broadest possible knowledge base possible. I have a great deal of experience in supporting schools, initially as an SLE with a specialism in data and raising standards, and then from 2015/2016 as an NLE. As a former teaching school, I have a great deal of knowledge about ITT and school improvement.

I have worked as a sub-regional lead for NWLSC for the last 2/3 years, overseeing the West and have supported Teaching Schools in the region, through the recent changes where most were de-designated. I am a member of the Barnet’s – School and Settings Partnership Board which is a cross phase board, this has enabled me to learn about education at different phases.

I would welcome the opportunity to work directly with the RSC in our region, for the benefit of all children and students in our area.
