Jamie Clarke

I am the CEO of Tove Learning Trust and we have 11 primary and secondary schools in Northamptonshire, Milton Keynes and a hub in the West Midlands. I have successfully led the strategic vision, development, and growth of the trust since 2016. Prior to this, I was a headteacher for 16 years at two secondary schools, taking Sponne School in Towcester to outstanding in 2012. I have been involved in school improvement partnership work for many years including as an executive headteacher and NLE. During this time, I have worked with both primary and secondary school leaders to support them on their improvement journey.

I have used these experiences to help focus my work as a co-opted member of the RSC Advisory Board for the past three years. During this time, I have seen how useful and important this group is in advising the RSC and other DfE colleagues by providing challenge and support to the academy sector. I am passionate about ensuring that all pupils have access to a high-quality education and this motivates me in wanting to continue working with the RSC and her team in the future.
