Dr Andrew Campbell

Hello, I am Andrew Campbell, CEO of Brooke Weston Trust, a 10 school sponsor MAT (c8000 children across primary, secondary and large SEND units) in the north of our RSC region.

I have always championed the rights and voice of individual schools, cherishing their difference and role at the heart of their communities. I have first-hand experience of the positive power of MATs, local authorities and other educational organisations coming together unselfishly to do what is right for localities. Fairness, curiosity to understand others and determination to achieve the best solution - especially when it's not easy - are characteristics I believe I have.

As an example, our new Teaching School Hub was founded in this collaborative way building on mutually respectful professional relationships and creating a matrix of support by with and for colleagues region-wide.

I am confident I can discharge the duties of an AB member effectively and promise scrutiny, challenge and support to the RSC's decision making.

My relevant experience includes working with RSCs and their officials in more than one region since 2013, opening free schools; sponsoring academies; disaggregating an all through academy and serving as a board member on a MAT transitioning into another Trust.
