Statement

I have been a Chief Executive Officer of schools trusts for five years and previously have had experience in a special education setting, mainstream and alternative education, prison, further and higher education as well as the charitable sector. My parents instilled in me a strong moral imperative to help others along with a thirst for knowledge that I have tried to pass onto my own daughter and son. This has informed and shaped my work as chair of a small communications charity for the last 8 years and why I moved into the MAT world to try to make a positive impact on the life chances of children. It also underpins the vision for the MAT I am humbled to be part of, EMAT; “every child deserves to be the best they can be”

My commitment, should anyone support my nomination would be to challenge and support, without fear or favour, the RSC to make the best evidence based and information rich decisions for our children’s futures. It would be an honour and a privilege to try to represent my peers should you feel that my experiences working in social justice and education are worthy of your vote
