I would be privileged to represent colleagues on the North of England Advisory Board and hope that fellow professionals can be confident that my experience is relevant. I have extensive local knowledge across all phases in the Northern Region and would bring an objectivity to the role by providing advice, scrutiny and challenge to the RSC decision-making process
Our Trust will have 35 schools by 2022 (Primary and Secondary). All have been rated as good or better on full inspections after joining the Trust. I have contributed to the current strategic direction, locally and nationally, to help drive the following DFE initiatives:
-National Recruitment and Retention strategy,
-Tailored Support,
-Trust to Trust support
-Northeast One Vision strategy
I am a Trustee of schools Northeast and a member of the Queen Street group which promotes ethical leadership.
As an NLE, I have supported schools from all phases and addressed audiences on the benefits and complexities of leading a Multi-Academy Trust in accordance with the principles of subsidiarity, solidarity and the common good.
I work relentlessly to improve the life chances of young people and am always prepared to challenge while being compassionate and where appropriate, keeping a keen sense of humour.
