As Headteacher of Lindley CE Infant School, I have a lot to feel proud of. I have led the school through many changes whilst maintaining the school’s reputation and strong standing within the community. The most significant being the move to Academy status. The success of the school has continued, maintaining its outstanding status over time and ensuring that pupils access the best educational practices based on extensive research, whilst staff work in an environment with the support to develop professionally.
I believe I can make a strong contribution to the advisory board as I would like to be involved in the changing landscape of education where the government’s vision is for every school to be part of a family of schools in strong academy trusts. As a school we are proud of our supportive ethos when building partnerships and collaboration, all of which strengthen the school’s position by opening up new opportunities to work collaboratively with other schools, the Diocese and LA. I thoroughly enjoy the role of head teacher and have embraced leading Lindley CE Infant School as an outstanding school through its academy journey, utilising and enhancing the skills and expertise I have developed along the way.
