Sue Bridges

I am the CEO of Cascade Multi Academy Trust which is situated in the North of Sheffield. We comprise of four large primary schools and three Integrated Resources which opened in September 2020. All our schools are judged good by Ofsted.
I would love to be part of the Advisory Board as I welcome the opportunity to give time to the wider school system. I am a great believer that we are educators for all children. All children should receive an education which inspires them to do great things regardless of their social background.
Through this opportunity, I would learn new skills, new systems/processes and find out about the amazing things other academies are doing.
I will bring my expertise of leading a MAT which is open to advice, scrutiny and challenge. I believe I have the skills to support the RSC decision making process through analysing the relevant information and asking questions to determine the best possible outcomes.
I am experienced at developing Trust Boards, reviewing finance data, challenging school improvement plans in a supportive and analytical way.
I am the Chair of Locality B Headteacher’s Board, building up positive, professional relationships with colleagues across the city.
